Complete guide to the DISC behavioral assessment
How the DISC assessment works
On each page you see 4 behavioral statements. From those 4:
✓ Choose one as your “Most†trait.
✓ Choose another as your “Least†trait.
The other two stay unselected. Then you move to the next question.
Important: Every question needs one Most and one Least choice. Honest answers produce more accurate results.
About DISC
DISC is a personality assessment that groups behavior into four primary dimensions. Developed by American psychologist William Marston in 1928, it remains one of the most widely used behavioral tools worldwide.
The four DISC dimensions
D — Dominance
People high in D are decisive, direct, risk-tolerant, and results-driven. They tend to take charge and perform well in challenging environments. They are often natural leaders with fast decision-making.
I — Influence
People high in I are social, optimistic, energetic, and relationship-oriented. They enjoy interacting with others and play key roles on teams. They are often creative and inspiring.
S — Steadiness
People high in S are patient, reliable, empathetic, and cooperative. They value stability and lasting relationships and thrive in steady environments. They are often good listeners who keep teams united.
C — Compliance
People high in C are precise, organized, analytical, and standards-focused. They care about quality and accuracy and excel in analytical and technical work. They are often strong planners.
