What is a parenting style?
The dominant pattern of emotional warmth and structure/control with a child. For awareness and deliberate adjustment—not judging parents.
Three common educational styles
- Authoritative: warmth + clear rules
- Authoritarian: high control, less warmth
- Permissive: high warmth, low structure
How should you answer?
